Senior Electrical Engineer required for a major offshore wind developer based in EnglandResponsibilitiesSupporting the Head of Technical and Transmission Package Manager on the delivery of FEED/detailed design scopes.Technical review of electrical system package (onshore and offshore) contractor''s documentationPreparation and response to Technical QueriesDesign and development of electrical transmission system for offshore wind power plants.Technical assessment of grid code requirements and grid compliance verification.Modelling and simulating power systems for offshore wind power, including energisation studies, harmonics and zero-missing phenomena.Technical specifications of high voltage equipment for transmission systems. Responsible for the identification of any design changes as a result of a variation to the contract(s) arising within his scope of work.Contribute to the development of Design Requirements, Design Decisions/KDS.Attending design coordination/review meetings at contractor''s and third party''s offices.Preparation of technical papers/slides and presentation to management team, as required.Contribute to design reviews associated with Project Governance activities.Assisting the Package Manager in preparation of detailed work planning and the subsequent reporting of work progress, including MoM and action tracker.Facilitating interfaces between Contractors and coordination between disciplines and other PackagesRequirementsDegree qualified electrical engineer ..... full job details .....
