Job Title: Estimator/ Senior Estimator Location: Essex Package: £55,000 - 85,000 plus car allowance Skilled Careers are working with a Main Contractor who due to an incredible amount of work winning they are looking for an Estimator or a Senior Estimator to join the Estimating team across multiple high-profile contracts. Accurately preparing the financial element of bids and producing estimates on appropriate schemes to the right net cost in a timely manner. The ultimate goal is to deliver profitable, de-risked, winning bids on time and to the highest quality, providing estimating services on projects and strategic and contract changes. The Estimator or Senior Estimator would be working on Residential, Commercial, Education, Leisure and Industrial Projects from £1m up to £30m. Duties The Estimator or Senior Estimator would be working on Residential, Commercial, Education, Leisure and Industrial Projects out of their office in Essex. Can demonstrate commercial awareness and a strong understanding / have a willingness to learn all elements of the construction process Able to create and follow clearly set-out processes Methodical, analytical and organised with an attention to detail Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Ability to work well under pressure Personable and effective team player Open to feedback with a willingness to learn and improve.
