The network has more than 354 locations across 60 countries and with 13,000 employees serving alliance customers and attending to the details of their business round the clock, around the globe.We are now looking for an Air Freight Exports Clerk based at our clients global freight forwarding team in Slough You will arrange and manage the transportation cycle by air freight and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed to ensure a seamless serviceYour role will involve: Create and issue Freight quotations for aie freight exports Booking shipments with airlines Negotiating rates with airlines Arranging collections with the transport department or sub-contractors Prepare, control and distribute all required export documentation to counterparts complying with regulations and internal procedures Follow up air freight shipment status, identify incidents and ensure resolution of incidents Handling customer enquiries and maintaining relationships Skills and experience required: We require an individual who is a competent Air Freight Export Executive with strong air freight exports experience. You will have previous experience of working for an freight forwarder in air freight export team.
