We are currently recruiting for inidividuals who want to support pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Role Overview:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LSA to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with students to support their learning and emotional well-being. You will play a vital role in fostering a positive classroom environment, helping students to engage with their education and develop essential life skills.Key Responsibilities:Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs.Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and tailored learning strategies.Encourage positive behaviour and participation in classroom activities.Monitor and record students'' progress, providing feedback to teachers and support staff.Foster strong, trusting relationships with students to promote emotional resilience.Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.Qualifications and Skills:Experience working with children, particularly those with SEMH needs, is highly desirable.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are preferred but not essential.A commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of all students.What We Offer:A supportive and collaborative team environment.Ongoing professional ..... full job details .....
