We are seeking a Highly Specialist Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to provide services across Central Bedfordshire special schools. This role involves delivering highly specialist clinical support to children with complex communication and/or eating and drinking difficulties (dysphagia), including those requiring AAC (augmentative and alternative communication).The post holder will work closely with school staff and multidisciplinary teams to assess, diagnose, and implement evidence-based therapy plans. Duties include supporting the development of communication strategies within the schools, delivering training for staff, and attending case conferences or multi-agency meetings.This flexible role offers opportunities for both clinical autonomy and leadership, including mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to service development.
