Job Title: Quality Control EngineerLocation: DorsetSalary: £40,000 per annumContract: Fulltime, Permanent (37 hours per week) Overview Seeking a skilled Quality Engineer with a strong aerospace background to join our team. This role involves ensuring product quality and compliance, maintaining AS9100/ISO9001 standards, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement. You ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance quality processes and product excellence. Key Responsibilities Maintain and improve AS9100/ISO9001 quality systems and support external accreditations.Lead MRB, RCCA actions, and support NPI and failure investigations.Ensure accurate product release documentation (Certificates of Conformance).Generate CMM (Faro Arm / Mitutoyo) programs.Proficient using various inspection equipment such as callipers, micrometres, height gages, indicators.Collaborate across departments to resolve issues and improve processes.Train apprentices and support continuous improvement initiatives. Experience and Skills Minimum 3 years in aerospace quality engineering, ideally with auditing experience.Proficient in AS9100, NADCAP standards, and aerospace specifications.Experience auditing would be beneficial.Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings and using inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).HNC/HND qualified in engineering or related discipline.
