Our client, a pioneering company in the cross-sector technology industry, is seeking a talented Radar Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this permanent role, you will play a crucial part in developing innovative radar systems, regularly updating existing designs, and driving new product advancements. With a focus on maximising the performance and characteristics of radar technologies, this position requires a knowledgeable and mathematically adept individual.Key Responsibilities:Working closely with the Senior Engineering team to develop new radar productsSpecifying hardware architecture, RF performance characteristics, waveform design, and DSP algorithmsOwning and extending existing radar models to incorporate new features and capabilitiesConducting radar trials analysis and preparing antenna calibration dataPrototyping and validating algorithms before implementationAnalysing trials data to verify and characterise the performance of existing and prototype radarsParticipating in field trials in the UK and occasionally overseasContributing to technical leadership and team communicationsJob Requirements:Mathematics, engineering, or physics degreeStrong mathematical and analytical skillsExperience in radar system design or satellite communication system designUnderstanding of the radar equation and its influence on radar architecture, waveform design, and signal processing methodsKnowledge of multi-function radar design and/or phased-array antenna ..... full job details .....
