Senior Policy Planner role for City of London Corporation Your new company The City of London Corporation, a historic and dynamic local authority at the heart of one of the world''s leading financial districts, is seeking a Senior Policy Planner. The Corporation is dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the City as a vibrant and sustainable place to live, work, and visit. Your new role The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing a local plan through the examination stage. Responsibilities include preparing for, attending, and presenting key arguments on behalf of the City of London as the local planning authority at the examination hearings. Additionally, the role involves providing support to other officers in their preparation for the hearing sessions and liaising with the Greater London Authority (GLA), neighbouring boroughs, and other stakeholders on planning policy issues, including the statutory duty to co-operate.
