Interaction Health and Social care are looking for support workers for our clients who have 1-1 support in the community.We specialise in supporting children and young people who have suffered early life trauma, neglect or abuse and may display challenging behaviours.We are rapidly expanding our services and are looking for full-time/part-time residential support workers (days, nights and sleep ins) to enhance our commitment to providing high quality support to children, young people and young adults to develop their independence and life skills in a dynamic and caring environment. The main duties of this role include, but not limited to: Main Duties and General Responsibilities of the post: 1. To ensure that our child/young person is valued, able to explore personal development and has the opportunity to communicate their needs, choices and aspirations. 2. To be responsible for the physical care, safety, health and wellbeing of our children/young people. This will involve supporting the service user with personal care, as detailed in the care plan/risk assessment. 3. To support children/young people fully with their life choices, including activities in the community, this will involve sports, swimming, walking, independent living and a range of activities that will consist of physical participation. 4.
