This role offers the opportunity to create high-quality, nutritious meals for students and staff, manage budgets, and lead a talented catering team. Key Responsibilities:Menu Planning and Food Production: Design and manage seasonal, balanced menus for students (ages 11-18) and ensure high-quality food preparation.Financial Management: Develop and monitor the catering budget, ensuring cost-effective meal production and waste management.Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the catering team, ensuring high standards of service and food quality.Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional customer service in the kitchen and dining areas.Health and Wellbeing: Promote healthy eating initiatives and maintain food safety and hygiene standards. Key Qualifications and Experience:City and Guilds 706/1 and 2 (or equivalent), Health and Hygiene Certificate.Experience managing catering in large quantities (preferably in a school or education setting).Strong budgeting, leadership, and communication skills.A passion for healthy eating and creating innovative, nutritious menus.
