Our client based in Newport, Isle of Wight, is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineering Manager to help drive forward the engineering team in a rapidly expanding company. We are looking for any candidates the meet the below criteria and are keen and experienced managers.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Lead mechanical engineering activities across projects.
• Advocate best practices in mechanical engineering.
• Ensure product development meets stakeholder requirements
• Manage budgets for people and financial resources.
• Drive product innovation and identify new product ideas.
• Support business and sales teams with technical support and training.
• Focus on achieving business KPIs.

• Option to finish at 1pm on Fridays.

• Minimum 5 years in mechanical engineering.
• Management Experience.
• Mechanical and FEA CAD. Experience.
• Working in a regulated, compliance-driven industry (ideally including ATEX/IECEx).
