Major Infrastructure Project Manager, CorkRole: To lead, manage, and deliver health care estate services including administrative, professional, technical, and project management services in accordance with the responsibilities and duties of the post.Key Responsibilities in Summary:1. Lead and manage major capital infrastructure projects.2. Oversee project teams, ensuring timely delivery, budget management, quality control, and effective communication with stakeholders.3. Manage project planning, procurement, design, construction, and compliance with HSE policies and regulatory standards.4. Support the development of the campus master plan and ensure projects meet health, safety, and environmental standards.5. Ensure compliance with health and safety, infection control, fire safety, and other regulatory requirements.6. Manage risks and ensure effective hygiene and quality control systems are implemented.7. Monitor and report progress of projects.8. Ensure adherence to sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives.9. Support performance management and KPI achievement.Qualifications & Experience Requirements:1. Level 8 (or higher) qualification in Architecture, Engineering, or Surveying, or full Chartered Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g., Engineers Ireland, Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland).2. Minimum 8 years’ experience in project management, construction, and maintenance of healthcare buildings.3. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with expertise in managing large-scale projects and teams.Skills & Competencies:1. Extensive experience in capital project management, building regulations, procurement, and EU guidelines.2. Proven leadership and team management abilities.3. Strong interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships and lead multi-disciplinary teams.4. Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office, and financial systems.5. Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and staff.6.
