Due to several recent increase in workload, we are looking for an experienced Power Systems Design Engineer to join a very well-established and highly successful consultancy who are market leaders in the data centre and energy industry. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for developing detailed engineering designs, calculations, and specifications using relevant technical software. You will prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, drawings, schematics, and other design documents across different stages of project lifecycles. You will be modelling complex networks and perform steady state studies (load-flow, short-circuit, protection coordination, arc flash), dynamic/transient simulation, and harmonic analysis to validate and verify developed design. You will be running computer simulations, supporting design teams, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of power distribution systems. Skills and Background Hold a Degree in Power Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field and ideally be a Chartered Engineer (or working towards) with a recognised industry body.
