Payroll Specialist/ Accountant; Belfast; 6 Month Contract; 37 hours per week; £32.75ph paye; Inside IR35. We are looking for highly skilled Payroll Specialist with general ledger accounting expertise to join our client s finance team in Belfast. This is a contract role for an initial period of 6 months, subject to review. The Payroll Specialist will report to the US GL Manager and will also work closely with the International GL Manager, AP/AR Senior Manager, and their teams., Hybrid working model is preferred for this role but our client will also consider someone to work remotely. Key Responsibilities: General Ledger (GL) Activities: Support GL activities related to the US payroll, processed twice a month. Paid Time Off (PTO): Receive reports from Workday and use these to calculate the correct accrual each period. Bonuses: Work closely with the HR team to ensure accurate amounts are accrued for bonuses. Commissions: Collaborate with the Director of Commissions to receive timely commissions data and ensure accurate worldwide accruals. Ad-Hoc Journal Entries: Assist GL team in posting other double entry journals as and when required. Payroll Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations on payroll GL accounts. Flux Analysis and Audit Support: Assist in providing meaningful flux analyses on payroll items both internally and to external auditors.
