Secondary General Cover Teacher / Experienced Cover Supervisor
Location: Rainham, Medway
Contract: Flexible (Part-time or Full-time)

We are currently seeking a strong, experienced Cover Supervisor or Secondary General Cover Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Rainham, Medway. This flexible role offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, with potential for long-term placements for the right candidate.

This role is perfect for professionals with experience teaching and managing classes across secondary key stages and a variety of subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons confidently across a range of subjects and secondary age groups.
• Managing classroom behaviour to maintain a safe, focused, and productive learning environment.
• Engaging and motivating students to complete work to the best of their ability.
• Providing support to students, addressing individual needs where appropriate.
• Ensuring adherence to the schoolandrsquo;s policies, including safeguarding procedures.
• Delivering feedback to teachers on class engagement, behaviour, and progress.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing and teaching secondary-level classes across various subjects.
• Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement.
• A clear, enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple schools as needed.
• A positive attitude, resilience, and a passion for supporting students in their learning journey.
• Desirable but not essential: QTS or working towards it.
