Role: Domestic Abuse Support WorkerBased: EalingRate: £20 - £21 umbStart Date: ASAPDuration: Until March 2025Hours: 37.5 per week Monday to Friday 9am 5pmOur client, a specialist charity is looking for a Support Worker to provide a safe and empowering environment for women and their children/dependents who are/have experienced domestic abuse either in their own homes or in a refuge setting.Synopsis of duties:Responsible for the delivery of services to service users, ensuring effective reporting to the Manager as appropriate Responsible for risk management and financial control within the team Responsible for, high standards of customer care. To act in accordance with the values and aims of the Charity To promote and implement policies and procedures Take responsibility for the effective day to day management and smooth operation of the refuge and provide effective support to women living in their homes: Manage own case load, key working women using individual support plans Actively manage new referrals from relevant agencies and individuals, conducting assessment interviews, risk assessments, obtaining relevant information from relevant agencies. Issue occupancy agreements (refuges only) and induct new service users into the service.
