Our client is looking for an ambitious individual with a minimum of two years practice experience, looking to further and strengthen their career. Ideally you will be AAT level 3 qualified or studying ACCA. QBE will be considered also. Candidates should have a good academic background with a willingness to learn new skills and to grow in the role. Good communications skills and the ability to work in a team are essential. The working hours are 09:00 to 17:30 with an hour for lunch and they offer a very friendly and vibrant working environment. Hybrid working is offered after successful completion of a 3-month probation. Skills required: Preparation of sole trader, partnership and limited company accounts. Preparation of personal, partnership and corporation tax returns. Preparation of VAT and CIS returns, along with processing payroll and pensions as and when required. Utilisation of software packages such as Xero, Sage 50 and VT. BTC Practice Software would be an advantage, however training will be provided. Microsoft 365 Correspondence with clients and agencies such as the HMRC. Knowledge of UK GAAP, ideally an understanding of FRS102 and FRS105.
