Fire Alarm Maintenance Engineer Kent 32,000 - 36,000 per annum Key Responsibilities: Maintenance and Servicing: Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and testing of fire alarm systems, Automatic Opening Vents (AOVs), and emergency lighting in local authority and social housing properties. Fault Finding and Repairs: Diagnose and rectify faults across fire alarms, AOVs, and emergency lights ensuring systems are operational and compliant with industry standards. Client Liaison: Engage with local authorities, social housing clients, and tenants to ensure clear communication and provide professional service. Health and Safety: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with Health and Safety guidelines, promoting safe working practices at all times. Reactive and Planned Work: Undertake both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs as required. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Maintenance Engineer, particularly within social housing and local authority sectors. Strong knowledge and experience working with fire alarm systems, AOVs, and emergency lighting. Relevant industry qualifications, including FIA certification, City and Guilds, or equivalent.
