Meter Reader

In this role, you'll use your own vehicle to visit both residential and commercial locations within your designated area.

Main duties of this Meter Reader role:

• Driving to a designated area local to you
• Knocking on doors and being customer service friendly, making them aware your checking Meter Readings.
• Obtaining utility meter readings at residential/commercial properties
• Conducting visual inspections of metering equipment
• Recording data through our client’s mobile/tablet app
• Move to the next location and repeat process

Skills and requirements for this Meter Reader role:

• Driving Licence, entitling you to drive in the UK - with no more than 6 points.
• Use of your own vehicle with business insurance and current MOT.
• Must be able to pass a basic DBS check.
• 3 years employment referencing

Details of this Meter Reader role:

• Salary: £12.00 per hour
• Bonus Points system: Can earn up to £500pm
• Location: Stoke-on-Trent
• Working Week: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hrs per week – between 8am-8pm
• Overtime: Available on weekends – paid at flat rate £12.00ph
• Duration: Temp to Perm
• Mileage reimbursement: 30.5p per mile
